Bartlett is one of the largest independent companies in the country to specialise in premier refrigeration, catering equipment and air conditioning.
In 2019 Bartlett Refrigeration was going through a period of change; merging two sites together (Plymouth and Paignton) and moving one office site to a new location in South Brent.
Bartlett Refrigeration recognised it was vital that they had the correct infrastructure to ensure a smooth short-term transition and maintain a great customer experience as they continued to grow their refrigeration business.
Bartlett contacted Timewade to manage the infrastructure upgrade project and to merge two systems into one.
At the start of the project, Timewade worked with Bartlett to identify the improvements that were needed. Using this information they developed a comprehensive project plan which mapped out each stage of the infrastructure upgrade.
The improvement involved; new security systems, new servers, new structured networking cabling and full wireless network installation.
Timewade took on the whole project from start to finish, liaising with the cabling contractors and ensuring that all aspects of the project were managed, reducing the input required from Bartlett Refrigeration and minimising business disruption.
Once all aspects of the project had been mapped out and prepared, the move to the new site took place over just one weekend to avoid business disruption. Timewade worked outside of standard office hours to deliver a smooth transition on time.
