Earlier this year, Timewade welcomed Sam Rager to the team as our Service Delivery Manager; an exciting opportunity to join a new role in the company.
Sam said: “I’m really enjoying my role here at Timewade. The work has a lot of variety, which I love. I get to be involved in a range of different projects and clients, so my work can vary quite a lot day to day.
“My role involves oversight of the team’s projects and deliverables, so it’s quite far-reaching. I could be scheduling for the project specialists who are out on site, liaising with clients to make sure they’re happy with what we’re doing, or addressing technical issues that arise off the back of projects. I get to work with clients, suppliers, and the inhouse technical teams, which keeps it social and exciting. That’s what I find most interesting about the job – it’s never the same!”
Timewade has a hybrid-working policy, allowing team members flexibility when it comes to working at the office at Winslade Park, or working from home.
Sam said: “The hybrid-working set up here at Timewade is really helpful. I spend two or three days in the office a week working alongside the team, and the rest of time I can work from home, with occasional visits to clients.
“There’s a really great culture at Timewade. We have a good buzz in the office, and there’s always a collaborative, supportive atmosphere. We also do regular social company events. In the months since I joined, we’ve done a team go karting outing which was a lot of fun, and we recently had a summer BBQ event here at Winslade Park, which was a really great day.”
Sam has previously worked in a number of different companies in tech and IT, helping him to get an overview of different parts of the industry.
Sam said: “Tech is a really interesting sector to work in. I’ve worked in a number of organisations in different parts of the tech sphere, including a broadband provider, and an IP telephony company. It’s been really interesting getting to experience different parts of the tech sector. There are a lot of opportunities out there, and once you’ve got your foot in the door, there’s no knowing where you could end up!
