Timewade welcomes new Junior Service Desk Analyst Owynn Quinton 1121 817 Timewade
Owynn Quinton

Timewade are delighted to welcome Owynn Quinton to the Service Desk team.

Owynn comes from a small business, working on home computer repairs. Keen for a new challenge and the opportunity to develop his skills in a larger company, Owynn applied for the role of Service Desk Analyst.

Owynn said: “I saw the role at Timewade and was attracted to the company’s ethos and focus on personal development. Coming from a much smaller operation it felt like an exciting opportunity for me to grow in my career. I was delighted to be offered the role, and have really enjoyed my first few months settling into the team and developing my Service Desk knowledge and skills.

“I have always been interested in IT and technology, and studied a Level 3 BTEC in Computing at college, as well as a Higher National Diploma in Computing via Exeter College’s university function. The role at Timewade enables me to build on my IT knowledge and develop my customer skills, as I work with a variety of customers and learn about their bespoke equipment and software. For me the best thing about the role is the puzzle solving, and I really enjoy working behind the scenes to fix any IT or technology issues for our clients.

“I’ve already learnt so much, including competence in Microsoft 365 and Azure as well as gaining more experience working on services and domain controllers. I am hungry to learn more and have been really inspired by my manager, Jordan, who started as an apprentice at Timewade and is now the Operations Director. Jordan has already arranged for me to gain a CompTIA network+ qualification which will help me further in my role. With the support of the team, and the opportunities available at Timewade, I hope to quickly progress from Junior Service Desk Analyst to Service Desk Analyst!

“I love being a part of a larger team, which still has a really supportive culture. Everyone I have spoken to at Timewade has been really helpful, as I settle in and learn the ropes. I am also enjoying working at Timewade’s new offices at Winslade Park. For me it is a big change from working at home, and it’s one which has been really positive.

“My experience at Timewade has been nothing but positive, and I can’t wait for the next few months and years, as I continue to learn and develop in my career.”
