Since joining us in June 2023 as our Office Administrator, Sierra has been instrumental in keeping everything running smoothly for the team. In her blog, find out more about Sierra and how she came to join Timewade, and what her time with us has been like so far.
What’s it like being an Office Administrator?
I provide support to the whole business, sorting out clients’ software licences, ordering products, filing, organising travel arrangements, and everything in between!
I’ve spent the last ten years in various admin roles, and previously worked for a fire safety system company in Malaysia. But in 2018, I decided to take the leap and move to the UK, and have since made Exeter my home. I’m naturally a very organised, focused person, so I enjoy admin roles as I get to play a part in making sure the company runs smoothly!
What’s the team like at Timewade?
They’re not just colleagues, they’re like friends, always ready to lend a hand and make you feel at home. The team always feels very comfortable and happy, which makes a relaxed and supportive environment to work in. Plus, the office space itself is really nice, with modern offices and lovely grounds, which makes you want to come to work in the morning!
What’s the learning and development like at Timewade?
I was pleased to find out how supportive the company is of their employees learning and growing through their work. I’m going to be getting Microsoft Excel qualifications soon, as it’s a really useful tool and I’d like to get the most out of everything it has to offer.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Timewade?
It’s got to be the people! They’re a lovely group who make it a fun place to work, as well as genuinely being there to help each other out. It’s nice to know you’re supported by such a close knit team who are there for you if you need anything.
