In business it’s vital to constantly reframe your understanding of what’s happening around you.

A Chinese proverb says that errors made in the morning should be corrected in the evening. However, leaders and managers are rarely so flexible, often resisting disseminating plans and decisions until they are completely sure.

But flexibility does not mean losing sight of strategy. As Charles Darwin said, ‘it isn’t the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change’.

During the T4S SME Live Summit we’ll be talking about how technology facilitates essential training for future skills and helping you to develop a strategy for learning to adapt and learn in a rapidly changing environment.

When it comes to developing future skills including leadership, there are three key points to bear in mind:

  1. Being flexible and adaptable is essential to business survival for the foreseeable future
  2. Planning and strategy are important, however they must allow for rapid adaptation
  3. Business leaders don’t have to do this alone! Speak with your team, co-workers and other business leaders you are connected with

At Minerva Lifelong learning we deliver adaptive and future skills programmes that are designed to help people learn, not get trained.

We’ll be sharing some of our vision on how to reshape the future and using technology to adapt to the new-normal that awaits us at the T4S SME Live Summit. Book your place here: bit.ly/T4S_SME_Live_Summit
